New Zealand: TFE Hotels has established a New Zealand office following a multi-property management agreement with accommodation provider Heritage Hotels.
The agreement has seen more than 500 rooms across five hotels join TFE’s global network on 1 December. This includes the Adina CityLife Auckland and Rendezvous Heritage Auckland, overseen by cluster general manager Akash Sood.
Other properties joining TFE includes the Adina CityLife Wellington under the leadership of Oytun Cevik, and Adina Heritage Christchurch managed by Astrid McGowan.
The 175-room Rendezvous Heritage Queenstown completes the new additions. TFE is currently recruiting for a general manager.
Hotelier Warwick Kahl will lead the full team as director of operations NZ. He joined TFE in July 2022 as regional general manager for QLD, NT, WA, and NZ.
Tish Nyar, senior director of operations ANZ for TFE, said: “New Zealand had always been a growth market for TFE Hotels, and the strategic partnership with Heritage Hotels will offer expanded choice to international visitors into New Zealand.
“The NZ country team, led by Warwick will not only deliver and drive the success of our New Zealand properties but will also provide a strong foundation to support our future growth and expansion in region,” he added.
TFE Hotels has also appointed Meghana Ghole in the newly created role of director of finance New Zealand, as well as Jason Stobbs as director of revenue New Zealand.
Heritage Hotels will retain ownership of its portfolio in the country.
