Indonesia: Japan’s Hotel Okura will operate serviced apartments in a mixed-use tower in Jakarta.
The 46-story mixed-use building, provisionally called The Okura Residences Jakarta, is set to open in 2025. It is being built by Japan’s Mitsubishi Estate in partnership with Indonesian developers.
Set in Jakarta‘s CBD, the project has a GDV of US$186 million.
The Okura Residences will feature 353 apartments over 31 floors, ranging from 75 square metre studios to 1,000 square metre penthouses with rooftop decks. The apartments will be fully furnished, with cleaning and laundry services provided.
The development will also house the first Okura-branded hotel in Indonesia. The Hotel Okura Jakarta will contain 181 rooms on 13 floors. Residents in the serviced apartments will have access to the hotel’s pools, fitness centre and other facilities.
The serviced apartment project will be Okura’s second, following a development in Yangon, Myanmar, which is also in construction.
