Singapore: Synergy Global Housing has appointed Michelle Low as VP of global supply chain.
Low will be based out of Synergy’s Singapore office and report to president international, Stephen Hanton. Her predecessor, Joan McCarthy Mack, is taking up a new role within Synergy’s senior management team.
“Michelle is one of the most respected operators in our sector and a force of nature that will help drive our international expansion”, said Hanton. “While we’re sorry to lose Joan (albeit not from the company), we’re absolutely delighted to welcome Michelle as we look to build teams that will drive the next generation of growth and believe she’ll play a leading role in that journey.”
Low began her career in hospitality at the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Singapore as a sales manager. She then held sales management titles at the Westin and Conrad Hotels and Resorts before transitioning to corporate housing and global mobility with senior leadership roles at Oakwood and Cartus. In her latest position with Oakwood, Low was responsible for setting global strategic direction in sales and revenue distribution at the corporate level.
“Throughout my industry experience, Synergy has delivered unique solutions, provided best-in-class customer service and overall, were great partners to collaborate with”, said Low. “Synergy is in a great position to continue to grow and expand, and I’m incredibly excited and honoured to have the opportunity to work with the teams I have always respected—Henry, Jack, Stephen, Debra and the other leaders across the organisation — to help its supply chain become the preeminent global platform.”
