UK: Ray Goertz has been appointed as regional general manager of aparthotel brand Adina, ahead of the brand’s UK launch.

Former general manager of the five-star boutique hotel The Prince Akatoki in London, Goertz oversaw the property’s refurbishment and rebranding from The Arch London.

He has now joined aparthotel company Adina ahead of openings in Cambridge and Glasgow. The first site will be in Glasgow, with the conversion of a former office block into a 113-unit aparthotel on West George Street.

Adina offers fully-equipped apartments with 24-hour reception, room service, gyms, pools, and meeting spaces.

Goertz said: “I’m excited to lead these new openings and introduce a fresh perspective on hospitality, where guests can live like locals while enjoying the seamless service and vibrant design that Adina is known for. The Cambridge and Glasgow hotels will set a new standard, combining stylish, spacious apartments with the energy of these dynamic cities. Here’s to driving growth, fostering exceptional guest experiences, and bringing Adina’s game-changing vision to the UK market.”

Australia-based Adina is a subsidiary of TFE Hotels with 40 aparthotels throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe.
