UK: Lifestyle aparthotel platform AENDRE has expanded its team with the appointment of a creative director and senior associate in acquisitions.
Alex Bauman-Lyon joins AENDRE from edyn where he led the design of over 20 hotels across the Locke and Cove brands.
Beginning his career at Grimshaw Architects where he worked on large infrastructure projects such as London Bridge Station, Bauman-Lyon went on to support hospitality projects throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Bauman-Lyons said: “I am delighted to join AENDRE. The lifestyle hotel space has become a crowded space, with the various lifestyle brands beginning to resemble one another. AENDRE’s commitment to paving a path of its own by throwing out the lifestyle playbook resonates with me. We see a new consumer emerging that places wellness at the core of everything they want to do, including travel, and this is something that the lifestyle sector hasn’t caught up with yet. We get to bring this to life.”
The acquisitions team at AENDRE has also grown with the hiring of Charlotte Cottier, who will be responsible for sourcing opportunities in continental Europe. She joins from Tristan Capital where she spent nearly five years.
Cottier said: “I started my career at an established investment fund which gave me a strong foundation in acquisitions and a deep understanding of the market. Now, joining AENDRE, I’m excited to embrace its entrepreneurial and creative approach—bringing together my passion for real estate and hospitality to drive innovative opportunities.”
Eric Jafari, founder and CEO of AENDRE, added: “A strategy is only as deliverable as its team and AENDRE is incredibly fortunate to have attracted so many brilliant minds so early in its journey. I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.”
