SWEDEN: Movinn, the Danish serviced apartment company, is to open a new property in Lund, in the south of Sweden.
The property, which is located in Stortorget, in the historical city centre of the Swedish city, will offer 11 units with a mix of studio and one bed apartments.
The company’s coliving product, Movinn Coliving will also be launched in the property – with the aim to attract young professionals and international students attending Lund University.
The Lund property will open in October, and Movinn, which was founded in 2014, has further plans for Sweden in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
CEO Movinn, Patrick Blok, said : “This launch is in line with our long term strategy for Sweden as we are now covering two key markets in the country. It also shows the market that we are able to efficiently source the desired units internationally, which is an important part of implementing our going-alone strategy in Sweden. The launch is upping our geographical reach, it diversifies our activities further and it obviously provides us with some parallel growth tracks.
