UK: Aparthotel brand Native Places has teamed up with chef Thomasina Miers to offer in-room recipes.
The award-winning chef and food writer, who co-founded the high street restaurant chain Wahaca, has created three recipes designed to help guests enjoy cooking in their apartments using food sourced from local suppliers.
Miers’ three recipes are influenced by flavours from Mexico and the Middle East including Mexican fish stew and tortilla chips, Lebanese lasagna with seven-spice lamb, mozzarella and ricotta, or a Levantine taste of Aubergine fatteh.
Olivia Immensi, managing director of the Native Franchise said: “Travellers crave local and authentic experiences and at Native we take pride in connecting our guests with the local community. Thomasina’s luxurious, yet sustainable recipes encourage Native guests to source local ingredients from local suppliers and enjoy their vibrant apartment spaces to the full: be it a dinner party with friends and family, or a romantic dinner date for two.”
Native has 11 aparthotels across London, Manchester and Scotland. It recently opened a revamped aparthotel in Edinburgh.
