Oakwood opens property in Tokyo’s Azabu district

Japan: Oakwood has opened Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Azabu, the first hotel-licensed serviced apartment propertyto be developed by Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co.

Located within walking distance of Tokyo Tower and the Roppongi area, the hotel features 171 guest rooms.

All rooms come with fully equipped kitchens including refrigerators, microwaves, rice cookers, utensils, dishware, washer dryer machines, high-quality beds, air purifiers, 55″ flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and other modern amenities.

Rooms are available in four different bedroom types which include a “Japanese-Western” room type complete with tatami mats. All rooms have open balconies where guests can enjoy views of Tokyo.

With Oakwood Suites Yokohama, Oakwood Hotel Kyoto Oike, and now Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Azabu, Oakwood will continue to lead the hospitality industry by offering a unique combination of services of both long and short-term stays.”

On the first floor of the hotel, a lounge is open to non-residents and offers a “comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with natural light streaming through the large open windows into the sophisticatedly designed interior”.
