Australia: Pellicano Group is launching a short-term accommodation brand called Rambla. Read more on Serviced Apartment News.
Operating as an extension of its Pellicano Living build-to-rent platform, the company plans to provide serviced apartments with hotel-style amenities. This is the first project to launch under the brand, which will be complete at Pellicano’s Perry House build-to-rent project at Bowen Hills in Brisbane, this month.
Under the Pellicano Living model, Rambla guests will have access to communal rooftop lounges, entertainment areas, pools, gyms, co-working, breakout spaces and other shared amenities. They will also have the opportunity to participate in any regular events Pellicano Living runs for its residents. The group aims to attract professionals who spend some of their stay working from the apartments. Rambla will focus on technology, including contactless, digital check-in systems for flexible arrival and departure.
The company said: “We want the Rambla customer to feel like they’re living in a home away from home with a connection to the local community, still with a high level of comfort and style but in a more laid-back and accessible way.”
Perry House is one of several build-to-rent projects Pellicano has under construction, including Hillyard House at Brisbane’s Woolloongabba, the 70-residence Solarino House in Brunswick, the 63-residence Pivot House in Geelong and Berwick House in Fortitude Valley with a 110-residence.
