UK: Plans for a farm barn south of Manchester to become an aparthotel have been approved by Cheshire East Council.

The barn, which has been used for agricultural use by Brickbank Farm for the last 15 years,  will be split into three apartments with self catering facilities as well as the amenities of a traditional hotel. It is aimed at those staying for long weekends or midweek.

Cheshire East Council granted prior approval for the change of use of the barn into an aparthotel, which is located between Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent, around 10 miles from the M6.

Other aparthotel plans in the Northwest include plans for an aparthotel in Morecambe, Lancaster, and Liverpool’s legendary music studio site up for sale as an aparthotel.
