UK: Nottingham may see a new IHG hotel with extended stay options in the city’s new Island Quarter development if plans are approved tomorrow.
An 18 storey hotel, which includes a 223-rooms, will offer a mix of short and long stay facilities.
The hotels on the Island Quarter will be delivered in partnership with IHG, and will also have a 100-metre long forum for people to meet, eat and drink and 3,000 square metres of flexible serviced office space.
There will be a 10 storey, 247 residential apartment block also planned for the £650m development.
International architecture firm Leonard Design Architects and placemaking specialists Studio Egret West have reimagined 36 acres, to create a destination in the heart of a city.
