UK: Plans have been submitted to transform a Grade II listed building into 13 serviced apartments in Newcastle city centre.

Planning documents show a refurbishment of a listed building on Eldon Lane, which was a hairdressers until 2019.

Belgravia Investment Group Ltd submitted plans for the proposed change of use from a hairdresser on the ground floor to a cafe or restaurant, with the upper floors to offer 13 serviced apartments.

Documents show five one-bed apartments on the first floor, two studio apartments and three one-bed apartments on the second floor. The third floor features one studio and two one-bed apartments.

Plans also include an outside seating space and an area to lock up bikes.

In October Developer Modo Bloc submitted two aparthotel proposals for Newcastle.
