UK: Ireland-based PREM Group has teamed up with Zaplox to create digital keys and contactless check in across its 25 European properties.
Zaplox, which offers a contact-free mobile guest journey and mobile keys has signed an agreement with the international hotel and hospitality management company PREM Group, that includes delivery of Zaplox Mobile Guest App Premium 3.
PREM Group will offer a new custom-branded guest app for check-in and checkout, and guests who download the app will be able use their phone as a mobile key to unlock the hotel room door and to access other facilities at the property.
This means guests no longer have to wait in line to check in or get their key. Instead, guests use the app to check in and the digital room key becomes available directly in the app. The digital key can safely and easily be shared electronically with guests in the same reservation.

Premier Suites hotels in Dublin, Ireland and Rotterdam, the Netherlands will be the first properties to launch the mobile guest app.
PREM Group recently debuted its Premier Suites in Edinburgh.
