China: Serviced apartment and hotel residence provider Frasers Hospitality has opened two Modena properties in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
Frasers Hospitality has expanded its Modena brand in China with the launch of its seventh and eighth properties in the country: Modena by Fraser Shenzhen and Modena by Fraser Wujiaochang Shanghai.
Situated in the Luohu District in the Shennan 1001 development, the Shenzhen property soft opened in late March of 2025. It offers 325 apartment units ranging from studio to two-bedrooms. Facilities include a gym, yoga studio, pickleball court, cafe, and outdoor barbecue area.
The building was designed by PLP Architecture and has direct connections to Hong Kong via Luohu, Wenjindu, and Liantang crossings, and is also served by Shenzhen Metro Lines.
The Shanghai location opened in May 2025 in the Yangpu city district. The property has 307 fully furnished apartments ranging from 23 square-metres to 66 square-metres, alongside meeting spaces, a garden, a yoga studio, and a restaurant. It is accessible by bus and Metro lines.
