US: The Homewood Suites by Hilton Newport Cincinnati has opened its doors within the $1 billion (£764 million) Ovation mixed-use development in Newport, Kentucky.
The grand opening on April 11, 2025, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house attended by local officials, investors, and community members. The property is located at 201 W 4th Street and has been designed for both short-term and extended stays.
Developed by Corporex and managed by Commonwealth Hotels, the five-story hotel offers 133 suites, including 30 king studios with sofa beds, 77 king suites, and 26 queen studios. Guest rooms come with fully equipped kitchens alongside separate living and sleeping areas, with some rooms equipped with mobility-accessible tubs, roll-in showers, or hearing-accessible features.
The hotel also features a rooftop bar HighNote, offering panoramic views of the Cincinnati skyline. Additional amenities include a fitness centre, business hub, complimentary hot breakfast, evening receptions on Wednesdays, and a self-serve beverage station available daily.
