UK: Legal & General has completed the acquisition of the 305-bed dual-branded Hyatt Place & Hyatt House Leeds for its Managed Property Fund.
The 12-storey property is located on Sovereign Street and opened in March 2025. The project is a joint venture between Marrico LLP and Helios for UK Commercial Property REIT (UKCM) and Hyatt.
Rooms are split between the short stay Hyatt Place (217 rooms) and the long stay Hyatt House (88 apartments), with shared amenities including two F&B venues and four meeting spaces. Designed by DLA Architects and Studio Two, the property is also BREEAM certified and fully electric.
Aimbridge operates the property under a 25-year franchise with Hyatt, with Peter Dodd as general manager.
