Canada: Marriott has opened a dual-branded TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn hotel, located in Chilliwack.
The 150-room, dual-branded property is located at 43955 Industrial Way on the Lickman Road interchange. It sits on a 4.5-acre plot of land formerly known at the Fraser Gateway Centre which featured a former Best Western hotel.
Construction began in autumn 2023 and the property has been transformed into a six-storey hotel catering to both short-term and extended-stay travellers.
The TownePlace Suites section of the hotel offers 60 suites with fully functional kitchens, living areas, and adjustable work spaces. The Fairfield Inn section features 90 rooms with additional amenities including a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor pool and a hot tub.
Shared facilities include flexible meeting spaces, a business centre, onsite guest laundry, and a sundry shop.
