Sweeney Group opens second aparthotel in Aviemore

UK: Family-owned business Sweeney Group has opened its second aparthotel in Aviemore.

Sweeney Aviemore Two, located at 131 Grampian Road, has undergone a £450,000 refurbishment housed in the former Park Guest House. It joins Sweeney Aviemore One at 137 Grampian Road.

The latest property offers 16 bedrooms including two suites: the Cairngorm Suite (sleeps four) and the Macdui Garden Apartment (sleeps six) with a private garden. Sweeney Group’s in-house team has led the design. 

Martin Sweeney, director of Sweeney Group, said: “Aviemore is a year-round destination with so much to offer. With this refurbishment, we’ve created a property that perfectly blends comfort, design, and extra in room functions for our guests.”

The group is currently developing a hotel in Inverness comprising 19 rooms and suites, scheduled to open in early summer 2026.
