US: Real estate equity fund manager and developer Urban Catalyst has opened the Marriott TownePlace Suites extended stay hotel in downtown San Jose, managed by independent hotel operator Island Hospitality Management.
TownePlace Suites San Jose Downtown offers all-suite accommodation with kitchens and workspace facilities.
The 176-suite hotel was designed for business and extended stays, and is located at 495 West San Carlos Street, close to major tech campuses and the San Jose McEnery Convention Centre.
The project is part of Urban Catalyst’s Opportunity Zone Fund initiative, aimed at boosting development in underserved areas.
