KUWAIT: Radisson Hotel Group has announced the debut of its second brand in Kuwait with the signing of Park Inn by Radisson Kuwait Hotel & Apartments.
The new build property is cited to open at the end of next year and will offer 250 rooms and serviced apartments.
Guests at the hotel and apartments will also be able to enjoy a fitness centre, spa and salon.
The hotel features an all day restaurant, speciality restaurant and a lobby cafe. For meetings and events there is a ballroom, three meeting rooms and a multipurpose hall.
The hotel is half an hour drive from Kuwait International Airport and is 36km south of Kuwait City making it ideal for those working in the petrochemical sector.
The arrival of Park Inn by Radisson Kuwait Hotel & Apartments means Radisson Hotels Group has 75 hotels and more than 16,000 keys in operation and under development in the region. The group already has the Radisson Blu Hotel Kuwait in the country.
Thai hotel group, Dusit International, also plans to enter Kuwait with a hotel and serviced apartments by 2023 with the Dusit Princess Mahboula Kuwait.
