US: Red Roof has announced the opening of a dual branded Red Roof Inn and HomeTowne Studios in Georgetown, Kentucky.

The dual branded hotel has a combined 85 rooms, including 34 extended stay suites.

Guests staying at either brand can benefit from the amenities at both hotels, including laundry rooms and free coffee in the lobby.

HomeTowne Studios offer additional storage options, kitchenettes (although dishes are not provided) with full-size refrigerators, and a weekly housekeeping service. Kitchen kits are available to buy at the front desk.

Red Roof Inn and HomeTowne Studios is located near Georgetown College, Georgetown Community Hospital and several restaurants and bars.

Red Roof has been a pioneer for the economy extended stay segment, only launching in 2021. It launched its new HomeTowne Studios prototype, which included updated guestrooms, and a layout designed for operational efficiency last year.

The new dual branded property in Kentucky will participate in RediRewards from Red Roof where members can use their points on gift cards, save up to 30 per cent on their room rate, and have access to discounts across thousands of retail, entertainment, and service categories.

Earlier this month Red Roof opened its first HomeTowne Studios new build in Florida.
