Northern Ireland: Room2 ‘hometels’ has announced it will open a Belfast property, next Spring.
The Belfast aparthotel will be the fourth property in the Lamington Group’s Room2 portfolio, following the openings of Chiswick, Hammersmith and Southampton.
The Belfast property will offer 175 rooms, and guests can also use the cafe and restaurant, coffee, meeting and workspaces, gym, bar and lounge. There is also a laundry room.
There will be eight suites and seven accessible rooms included in the room options.
Following in Room2 Chiswick’s sustainable footsteps the Belfast offering will use recycled and reclaimed materials throughout and will support local producers and suppliers.
The role of General Manager is open for applicants and the job description asks for someone who will direct, lead, coach and train the team and help their growth and development, while managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
The role will also involve creating events and workshops, introducing potential partners and collaborations, and recognising sales opportunities.

The location for the Belfast aparthotel was decided in 2020.
