UK: The Stay Company, a serviced apartment operator, will open a £2 million development in Nottingham next month.

Whitefriars House, in Friar Lane close to Nottingham’s Old Market Square, will offer 17 apartments ranging from studios to one-and two-bed apartments.

The Stay Company is aiming at the extended stay market for both business and leisure travellers.

The work on the building was carried out by Derby property developer PKL Investments.

The Stay Company owns around 100 serviced apartments in Derby and Nottingham.

Earlier this year IHG announced it had plans for an extended stay hotel on the Island Quarter development in central Nottingham.
