Vietnam: Serviced apartments are growing in popularity for young people in Ho Chi Minh City
Last year, M Village Company, which operates five serviced apartment buildings in the city saw an occupancy of more than 90 per cent.
Aimed at a young crowd, the M Village concept offers a chain of serviced apartments with 270 rooms.
M Village apartments offer rooms up to 30 square metres, and include amenities such as washing machines and well-equipped kitchens. Housekeeping is also available.
Tech-savvy guests can also order coffee on their mobiles and pay their bills without cash.
Nguyen Hai Ninh, general director of M Village told The Star in Vietnam that long term rentals, like the serviced apartment concept at M Village Company, was preferable to buying at the moment for the younger generation. Typically apartments are being rented from between one to five years.
