Staybridge Suites opens second Saudi Arabia property

SAUDI ARABIA: IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its second Staybridge Suites in Saudi Arabia, in Al Khobar.

Located on Olaya Street, Staybridge Suites Al Khobar City, is on the doorstep of Al Rashid Mall and Dhahran Mall and close to the Corniche for seafront strolls. Nearby is Al Khobar’s corporate district and oil company, Saudi Aramco, is 15 minutes’ drive away.

The hotel offers 68 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and all feature fully equipped kitchenettes, living space, workplaces. Free wifi and lots of storage are also offered. 

Guests can enjoy welcome snacks and drinks on arrival as well as  making use of The Pantry, which is open 24/7. Full breakfast is included and tea and coffee is available throughout the day. The hotel also features a restaurant and a health club.

Our goal is to give our guests a sense of belonging to a larger community and to provide a relaxing atmosphere that helps them to focus their efforts on important things.”  

Staybridge Suites is an all-suite brand designed for extended stay guests. IHG is set to grow its portfolio by a further 30 percent, with more than 1,800 hotels already signed in its development pipeline. Over the last 10 years it has had hotels opening across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The international hotel group is also celebrating 6,000 hotels in its portfolio by announcing the 6,000 Club.  The club features a collection of newly opened hotels from IHG’s portfolio, including the Staybridge Suites Al Khobar City, showcasing the global reach of its 17 brands.

The 6,000 Club includes partnerships with major sports and entertainment events across the world.

Staybridge Suites recently made its debut in Wales.
