QATAR: Deutsche Hospitality has announced the signing of the management agreement for the Steigenberger Residences Doha, Qatar.
The Residences will complement the recently opened Steigenberge Hotel Doha and will feature 278 furnished apartments.
The Residences, which has a lobby and reception area, will offer one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, with modern but opulent design.
Guest facilities include a rooftop pool, gym, yoga room and spa. There will also be five restaurants and bars.
The apartments will be open in time for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, which starts on November 21st this year. Qatar has added more than 45,000 hotel rooms and serviced apartments to be ready to host the FIFA World Cup – you can read more about that here.
The Residences and the Steigenberger Hotel are a 10-minute drive to Hamad International Airport and within walking distance from the business park.
Last month Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced a similar development for 161 serviced apartments to complement its existing hotel in Doha.
