Worldwide: Technology and business consultancy BJSS has partnered with extended stay accommodation agency Situ to launch Xenia, an automated booking platform.
The aim of Xenia is to reduce the enquiry-to-quote timeframe for customers.
It will also be able to analyse the carbon footprint of each stay, allowing corporate travellers to report their Scope 3 emissions. As a result, it will inform the decision-making process when accommodating employees, as well as allowing Situ to provide clients with operational insights and data.
Paul Lynch, product and development director at Situ, said: “We are at a very exciting point in our growth journey. Having seen a doubling in employee numbers to fill demand, we predict this innovative technology will see us grow further as we move into new markets.
“After working with BJSS in my prior role at ITV, I wanted to utilise their expertise in modernising systems with human-centric design, as well as benefit from their local presence here in our HQ city, Exeter. Once complete, Xenia will allow our skilled accommodation experts to do what they do best: provide our clients with a bespoke personal approach to help them move their people around the world more efficiently and sustainably.”
Stephen Reed, senior head of delivery, South, at BJSS, added: “Xenia will apply human-centric software to solve human problems. But this is not about replacing human interaction with technology – quite the opposite. Xenia will complete time-consuming, cumbersome administration tasks to improve the employee and client experience.”
BJSS id privately-owned tech and business consultancy with three decades of experience in software development and IT advisory.
Situ manages a network of properties across more than 140 countries, connecting companies with global accommodation for business travel, extended stays, and relocation.
