Europe: Serviced apartment provider YAYS has partnered with Katanox, a travel accommodation distribution and fintech platform.
The partnership will see Katanox connect YAYS’ inventory directly with travel agencies and travel management companies (TMCs).
Katanox is growing its supply of apartments as a result of the company witnessing increased demand amongst business travellers for this accommodation type.
Mendel Senf, co-founder, Katanox said: “This deal with YAYS Group is the latest in our efforts to bring both short and long stay apartment accommodation to travel management companies, which is quickly becoming a preferred way of travelling for business travellers.”
Lisanne Doensen, head of commerce at YAYS Group said: “This partnership allows us to have complete control and transparency in offering our inventory to travel agents and TMCs. In the distribution landscape characterised by traditional and complex connections, often with numerous commissions and fees for each booking, Katanox is a real game changer. Onboarding our properties to Katanox was very easy and quickly done.”
YAYS manages 16 properties in Amsterdam, The Hague, Paris, and Antwerp. The group is set to expand in Madrid next year and has recently signed a site in Berlin, scheduled to open in 2026.
Katanox facilitates distribution of travel accommodation inventory and payments. The team is led by Senf, Georgios Georgiadis, Imre Vogelezang and Paul Beukers.
