US: Marriott is planning on building a four storey TownePlace Suites property in Romeoville Illinois, just outside Chicago.
The 102-room extended stay hotel is expected to be approved by the end of the year, with construction starting next Spring.
Marriott’s TownePlace Suites model features rooms aimed at extended stay guests, including suites with fully-equipped kitchens, space to work and separate living rooms.
The properties also offer laundry, free wifi, business centres and are pet friendly.
The newbuild in Romeoville will be located in the Windham Lakes Business Park, 26 miles from Chicago.
There are six of Marriott’s extended stay brand in Illinois and more than 400 across the US.
