US: Flexible apartment membership company Landing has introduced Autopilot, a new platform offering listing and guest management services for multifamily property owners.

With Autopilot, Landing will  work with new multifamily developments to transform vacant apartments into furnished Landing units, market them, and ultimately fill the property with its members.

For property owners with excess inventory, Autopilot can help to generate demand through Landing’s nationwide community of members searching for fully-furnished apartments. Partners can also access Landing’s Standby bookings, which gives members the opportunity to rent apartments at a flat rate until a reservation is made at market rate.

Partners of Landing will be supported by representatives who can assist with onboarding, installations, welcoming new residents and more.

“Over the past four years, Landing has become the choice membership for people seeking maximum freedom and flexibility over where and how they live,” said Bill Smith, founder and CEO of Landing. “We’ve built a loyal and rapidly growing member base, and we’re thrilled to extend access to this demand from qualified renters.

“Autopilot offers our valued partners a holistic guest management experience that delivers the ultimate convenience and increased occupancy they can count on,” he said.

Since launching in 2019, Landing has expanded to over 375 US cities and more than 20,000 apartments. The company reports a 90 per cent average occupancy rate and average stay length of 77 days.
