UAE: Dubai-based Gulf Asia Contracting Company has been awarded a US$129.3m contract to build the Vida Aljada Hotel Complex in Sharjah.
Gulf Asia Contracting Company has experience developing projects across the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The development will include a 175-room Vida Aljada Hotel, 255 branded residences and 149 branded serviced apartments.
Developer Arada owns the complex but the hotels and apartments will be operated by Vida Hotels & Resorts.
The Vida Aljada will be the first of three Emaar Hospitality properties planned for Aljada. The other two developments include The Address Aljada and Rove Aljada.

The Cheval Collection recently announced its debut in Dubai this year opening its luxury serviced apartments on The Palm Dubai.
