PORTUGAL: Staycity Group has announced it is taking its Wilde Aparthotel brand to Portugal with the planned opening of two properties.
The aparthotel operator will open two properties next year; an 80-key property in Porto and a 95-key property in the capital, Lisbon.
The aparthotels will offer studio and one-bed apartments as well as a coffee shop, gym and laundry room for guests.
Staycity CEO Tom Walsh said: “We’re delighted to be opening in these popular Portuguese destinations and to be taking our Wilde brand into another of our European target regions alongside those already operating in Germany and the UK.”
Dublin-based Staycity has expanded across Europe recently opening its sixth aparthotel in Paris (pictured) and it’s third in Germany. CEO Tom Walsh recently spoke to SAN about the group’s plans on the podcast. Click here for a listen.
