EUROPE: YAYS has announced a new development specialist is joining its team in a nod to future expansion in France.
Louis Bornens has been appointed as the new head of development, acquisition and investments for YAYS in the French market.
Bornens has come from a background in hotel real estate development and hotel operations management. He graduated from Vatel France with an MBA in International Hotel Management, along with a certificate of Hotel development and real estate investments from EHL.
Bornens said: “I am very excited to join YAYS as a Development Specialist for the French market. In recent years we have seen a real interest from owners and developers for aparthotels in France. For me being part of YAYS, is showing a new concept of aparthotels to the French market.”
YAYS CEO, Zach Schwartz added: “We’re excited to have Louis join YAYS and drive our expansion in France, where we’re seeing increasing interest from developers and owners who are keen to see how our innovative YAYS aparthotel concept can help maximise the hospitality potential of their new build and conversion projects.”
