UK: Bristol-based Your Apartment has announced it is opening an aparthotel in Milton Keynes later this year.

The 65-key aparthotel is in the centre of Milton Keynes, just a few moments’ walk from Rooksey Retail Park Bus & Coach Station and Milton Keynes Central.

The aparthotel will offer 65 serviced apartments including 11 studios with kitchenettes and ensuite bathrooms, 41 one-bedroom apartments with open plan living, sleeping and dining space, and 13 one-bedroom apartments with separate bedrooms and separate open plan living and kitchen areas.

There are also 10 onsite parking spaces, three with electric charging points, and bicycle storage.

The property, which used to be offices in Platinum House on North Second Street, will also have a ‘Grab n Go’ pantry as well as a coworking space free to those staying.

Director & co-founder of Your Apartment, Toby Guest said: “Milton Keynes is the UK’s newest city and therefore has reams of potential due to its corporate appeal. With a buzzy weekday demand for serviced apartments in Milton Keynes, it only seemed like a great opportunity to bring our aparthotel concept to the neighbourhood on a scale which we are yet to achieve elsewhere.”

Your Apartment is working with emerging British designers on fresh and vibrant designs as well as teaming up with some of the industry’s leading tech companies.

Toby Guest added: “With many companies having retained a large amount of home working within their workforce it comes as no surprise that landlords and property developers in emerging cities like Milton Keynes are looking for new opportunities for adaptation of their portfolios. Your Apartment is to be the largest aparthotel of its kind to launch in the city”.

Your Apartment made its London debut at the beginning of this year and last month Your Apartment announced it had a management agreement for more serviced apartments in central Bristol.
