France: Lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke, part of the edyn group, has opened Le Jardin de Verre, its first property in Paris, on Rue de Lacépède in the centre of the Latin Quarter.
Le Jardin de Verre by Locke features 145 rooms across 11 categories, including two signature suites named the Begonia Suite and the Roseraie Suite.
The property sits close to the Panthéon, Jardin des Plantes and Sorbonne University.
The Begonia Suite is spread across two floors and features soft green hues, curved furniture, and bespoke lighting. The Roseraie Suite offers a soft pink palette, glazed ceiling, an oversized chandelier, and a freestanding bathtub overlooking the courtyard.
Guests will also have access to a gym, yoga studio, and boardroom for meetings and events. The property’s food and beverage offering, Bibie, is set to open in May, and will feature a destination restaurant in the atrium, a cocktail bar, a wine counter, a coffee shop, and an internal courtyard for al fresco dining.
Le Jardin de Verre was developed as an extension to a 20th-century industrial factory and an 18th-century Parisian residence. The hotel’s interior was designed by the London and LA-based studio Fettle.
The guest rooms, designed by edyn’s in-house team, draw inspiration from the 18th-century townhouse, mid-20th-century industrial influences, and contemporary hotel design.
The opening of the La Jardin de Verre, Locke‘s 17th aparthotel, was announced last summer.
