UK: Hospitality company The Ascott Limited is introducing its Citadines brand outside of London with its first property in Liverpool.
The Quest Liverpool City Centre will be rebranded as the Citadines City Centre Liverpool, following Quest Apartments’ strategic move to focus on the brand’s core oceanic market.
Originally launched in early 2019, the property is located at 72 Church Street and sits in Liverpool’s retail and cultural districts. Formerly a commercial 1980s building, it was transformed into a six-storey, 100-unit aparthotel.
Amenities include a gym, reception, meeting rooms, and communal laundry rooms.
When complete, it will mark the sixth Citadines aparthotel in the UK, bringing the portfolio to 40 sites across Europe.
Frédéric Carré, regional general manager operations, Ascott Europe, said: “This strategic decision gives Ascott a great opportunity to strengthen Citadines’ presence in key cities outside London. With minor upgrades in line with Citadines brand standards, we are confident that the rebranding into Citadines City Centre Liverpool will be a great success.”
