US: IHG has announced the arrival of its extended stay brand Staybridge Suites for downtown St. Louis, is to open in 2025.
The Staybridge Suites will open early 2025 alongside another luxury IHG hotel brand, Kimpton, as part of a new-build development in the city, known as Downtown West, which will connect Midtown and Downtown.
The properties will be owned and operated in a joint venture between Midas and Green Street Real Estate Ventures.
The new seven storey Kimpton in St. Louis will feature 170 guest rooms, with 10 suites, and the Staybridge Suites will offer 129 suites across its six floors.
The extended stay offering at Staybridge Suites marks the brand’s entry into the St. Louis downtown district. Guests at the Staybridge Suites can enjoy suites with fully equipped kitchens, work spaces, storage, complimentary hot breakfast, the gym and laundry facilities.
There is also a boardroom, outdoor space with a communal fire pit, and weekly social evening events.
St. Louis’s Downtown West neighborhood has easy access to the city’s financial services, high-tech, healthcare and energy companies, as well as the America’s Centre Convention Complex. Guests exploring the cultural side of St. Louis can enjoy baseball games at Busch Stadium, walks in Forest Park and concerts at Stifel Theatre.
IHG’s Staybridge Suites recently made its debut in Wales, opening in Cardiff last year.
