UK: The much-anticipated mixed use development in the heart of Edinburgh, has been officially opened by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.
The mixed use space, which is being developed by Nuveen Real Estate, has retail and leisure offerings, as well as an Everyman Cinema, and will also be home to a 75-bed Roomzzz aparthotel.
Other accommodation options include a W Hotel Edinburgh (the second W in the UK), as well as 152 residential apartments called New Eidyn.
Food and drink outlets now open include Itsu, Five Guys, Starbucks, Black Sheep Coffee Company, Bonnie & Wild, Salerno Pizza, Pho, Maki & Ramen, Krispy Kreme and Hotel Chocolate. Cocktail specialist The Alchemist is also open.

Roomzzz aparthotel will offer stays from one night up to a month or more with space to work, sleep and prepare dinner. The aparthotel is due to open next year and will be the first Roomzzz offering in Scotland.
