US: The all-suites brand TownePlace Suites, part of Marriott International, has opened its 500th hotel in Richmond, Virginia.
TownePlace Suites Richmond Colonial Heights is a milestone launch for Marriott, opening in the same city where the brand debuted 26 years ago.
Located south of Richmond in Virginia, it offers 131 rooms equipped with full kitchens and on-site amenities such as a full-service lobby bar, Weber Grills in the outdoor patio area, a gym, and laundry facilities.
In addition to marking the 500th opening, there are hundreds of TownePlace Suites properties in the pipeline throughout the US and Canada.

All TownePlace Suites hotels include pet-friendly accommodations, a 24/7 grab-and-go store, and offer programs such as Something Borrowed, lending guests counter-top appliances, cooking utensils, family board games and more.
The brand has grown in leisure destinations including TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dallas Rockwall in Texas, and TownePlace Suites By Marriott Tampa Clearwater in Florida.
