UK: Hospitality company Radisson Hotel Group has signed its first UK serviced apartments in Glasgow, with a target opening of 2027.
Located at 90/96 Maxwell Street and 40 Fox Street in Glasgow city centre, the project will offer a mix of studio and one-bed apartments, a rooftop bar and lounge, a restaurant, gym, and meeting rooms.
It marks the first serviced apartment offering in the UK for Radisson. The group currently operates 37 hotel and serviced apartments properties globally.
Adela Cristea, vice president business development, UK, Ireland and the Nordics at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “This is an exciting time for Radisson Hotel Group; this is the first serviced apartment concept signing in the UK for us and we are absolutely thrilled to showcase it in Glasgow.
“Radisson Hotel & Serviced Apartments Glasgow will perfectly complement our award-winning Radisson RED and Radisson Blu properties, both established, great brand representations in this amazing city,” she added.
Over the past few years, Radisson has revealed ambitious plans to expand its serviced apartment portfolio in EMEA. In 2021, Radisson announced it will “almost triple” its serviced apartment offer in the region over the next five years.
Most recently, the company highlighted Eastern and Southeastern Europe as growth markets for serviced apartments.
