UK: Aparthotel and members club The Other House is due to open its second property in London, located in Covent Garden in Q4 2025.
Located in the Wellington Block, The Other House Covent Garden is set across seven historic buildings, including a former rectory, around a five-storey glazed atrium.
The building has been refurbished using FSC-certified timber and low-carbon concrete. Additionally, 92.5 per cent of site waste has been diverted from landfill, and the property has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
The Other House worked with sustainable fashion and design company VIN + OMI, also appointed as creative sustainability advisors to the brand, on the Covent Garden project.
Accommodation includes 146 bedrooms and Club Flats, featuring fully-equipped kitchenettes and separate living spaces.
Three F&B venues include an all-day street café, cocktail bar the Owl & Monkey, and rooftop bar The Peacock Lounge. Additional amenities include a fitness centre with subterranean vitality pool, south bath, treatment rooms, and gym.
Overnight guests and external members of the Resident Club will have access to the fitness and wellness facilities as well as a calendar of events, partnerships and activations.
Naomi Heaton, CEO and founder of The Other House, said: “The opening of The Other House Covent Garden marks an exciting new chapter for our brand, blending our commitment to sustainability, fun and innovative design with the rich heritage of this iconic neighbourhood. We look forward to introducing this next addition to our Resident Club collection and welcoming guests and residents to this distinctive new House.”
The Other House has recently signed a third site in London, located in Belgravia. The 206-bedroom property will be housed in a former police station.
