Romania: French property group Catinvest is expanding in Oltenia with the opening of Aparthotel Craiova.
Following an investment of €12 million, Aparthotel Craiova has opened within the ElectroPutere Mall, owned by Catinvest. The shopping mall has 100,000 square-metres dedicated to retail and 24,000 square-metres of class A offices. An additional €36 million was invested into extending the mall earlier this year.
The aparthotel features 60 apartments ranging from one to two bedrooms, suitable for leisure and business travellers. Each apartment offers a full kitchen and dining area, in-unit washer and dryer, outdoor terrace, and a TV in both the bedroom and living room.
Additional amenities include in-room massages available upon request, as well as discounted gym access, clothing care, floral arrangements and more. Services are provided by local businesses located within ElectroPutere Mall.
Bertrand Catteau, CEO of Catinvest Group, said: ”Aparthotel Craiova brings a new level of hospitality to the region. With modern design, first-class amenities and an intimate atmosphere, we offer a superior alternative to classic hotels. Our guests will discover the comforts of home in a space that combines luxury with functionality.”
Elsewhere in Romania, Catinvest owns additional shopping centres such as the Orhideea and Esplanada Pantelimon galleries in Bucharest and Tom in Constanța. In total, Catinvest manages over 525,000 square-metres of space in France and Eastern Europe.
