Europe: Operator Cycas Hospitality has promoted Philip Steiner to chief operating officer for the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Portugal.
Steiner most recently held a general manager position of London’s Bankside Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection.
His career with Cycas began in 2018 as director of accommodations and serviced apartments, followed by a stint as general manager of the 244-room combined Moxy & Residence Inn by Marriott Slough.
“Stepping into this new executive leadership role presents an exciting opportunity to support Cycas’s continued growth and success across the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands and Portugal,” said Steiner. “My journey with Cycas has been incredibly rewarding, and I am excited to work with our talented teams to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and partners.”
