Austria: Flexible housing company Habyt will open its first aparthotel in Vienna on 1 August, marking one of the largest serviced apartment openings in Austria this year.
Located on Bruno-Marek-Allee in Vienna’s Nordbahnviertel district, the development was completed by Strabag Real Estate and handed over to Habyt in May. The property is expected to welcome its first guests in August.
The aparthotel will offer 319 fully furnished studios and apartments that can be booked for stays ranging from one night to several months. Every unit has its own private kitchen or kitchenette, Wi-Fi and dedicated workspace for both short- and extended-stay guests.
There will also be a wellness area, which will include a sauna and hammam, a gym, a lounge and dining area, and a coworking space.
Speaking about the opening, Lucas Bovone, chief executive officer of Habyt, said: “We combine the independence of your own apartment with the comfort and services of a high-quality aparthotel.”
Located close to Praterstern transport hub, the property is near the Prater, Danube Island and the Viecon Congress Center. The site has been designed for business travellers, conference attendees, remote workers, long-stay visitors and expats, Habyt said.
Habyt’s short- and extended-stay apartment hotels are located in various cities including Berlin, Madrid and Vienna, and form the basis of the Future Living Group.
