RAM Hotels breaks ground on dual-branded Marriott property

US: Development and management company RAM Hotels has begun construction on its dual-branded TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in South Georgia. 

Located in Thomasville, the 122-room dual branded property marks RAM Hotels’ first property in the city.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott is an all-suite extended stay hotel brand, while Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is an economy-to-midscale hotel brand. 

Mitesh Patel, EVPof RAM Hotels, said: “This will be Thomasville’s first and only true extended stay… Some people look at Thomasville as just a place on the map, but we see community with heart, history, and real momentum. Once we open, we will employ around 30 people full time; all of them will be right here from this community.”

• Upon completion, the dual-brand hotel will operate as Thomasville’s first dedicated extended-stay option and is expected to generate approximately 30 full-time local jobs.
