Germany: Operator Brera Serviced Apartments has signed its first site in the German capital, located within the mixed-use Midstad Berlin Schloßstraße building.

Project manager Midstad has been converting the former commercial property, located at Schloßstraße 122-125 in Berlin-Steglitz, since 2025. When complete, it will feature an office, retail, serviced apartments and fitness facilities.

Brera has signed 56 apartments within the site, ranging between 20 to 45 square metres. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2027.

Matteo Ghedini, founder and CEO of Brera Serviced Apartments, said: “Berlin is one of the most important business and innovation locations in Europe – a logical next step for us. We select our locations specifically according to where they strategically complement our portfolio and create real added value for our guests.”

Kevin Meyer, managing director of Midstad, said: “With Brera Serviced Apartments, we are winning an operator that fits perfectly with our concept of a vibrant, versatile and sustainable building. The apartments complement the use mix ideally and create additional frequency in the house. It is precisely the interplay of work, retail, fitness, gastronomy and the offer of serviced apartments that makes the special added value of this project.”
