Worldwide: Travel management company BCD Travel has appointed a global chief commercial officer, alongside two senior executives in the Americas.
Marcus Eklund, former global managing director of FCM, will join BCD as global chief commercial officer effective 14th September, 2026. He will succeed Mike Janssen, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Eklund brings global experience across sales, program management, marketing and product strategy to his new role.

Dave Mitchell, currently president of BCD mid-markets and GetGoing, will be promoted to president of the Americas. He will succeed Craig Bailey, who is also retiring on 30th June 2027.
Mitchell brings nearly 40 years of travel industry experience spanning operations, supplier management, commercial leadership and business transformation.
“The Americas region has incredible talent, strong customer relationships and significant momentum,” Mitchell said. “My focus will be on building on that foundation, accelerating innovation and helping clients navigate an increasingly complex travel environment while continuing to deliver on the promises that define the BCD experience.”
Tanya Green, who is currently SVP Americas operations, will step up into the role of president, mid-markets, effective 1st January 2027.
Green has spent decades leading operational, customer and transformation initiatives across BCD. Her experience includes customer deployments, operational redesign efforts, contact centre transformation. and AI-focused innovation programs.
“The North American mid-market sector is dynamic, innovative and full of opportunity,” said Green. “My focus will be on helping clients navigate change with confidence while continuing to bring together exceptional service, innovative technology and deep expertise to support their success.”
