I was lucky enough to take a trip to Singapore recently for the official launch of Oakwood’s impressive Premier OUE property in the financial district.
I think it’s safe to say Oakwood Asia Pacific managing director Dean Schreiber and his colleagues know how to throw a party – guests and press were treated to wonderful food, great cocktails, live music – and even mermaids in the swimming pool!
Click here to see a video interview with Schreiber, and with the property’s general manager Roy Liang.
The recent acquisition of Oakwood by Singapore-based Mapletree Investments has further cemented the city-state’s position as not only the Asian hub of the serviced apartment sector, but as it is now home to three of the biggest players in the industry – Ascott, Frasers and Oakwood, it could seriously claim to be the unofficial global sector HQ!
