Cambodia: Ascott will launch its first Citadines-branded aparthotel in Phnom Penh next month.

Citadines Flatiron Phnom Penh will open on March 15, 2022. The 41-storey project will feature 315 units and will be part of the Flatiron by Meridian mixed-use development, which will also include office and retail space.

It will offer a range of rooms and apartments, ranging from hotel units, to studios and three-bedroom apartments. The biggest apartment units include a kitchen, living area, separate bathroom and in-unit washer. Other amenities are daily housekeeping, free Wi-Fi, fitness zone, social lounge, swimming pool, laundrette, coffee corner and restaurants managed by Thalias Hospitality.

Joel Ho, general manager, Citadines Flatiron Phnom Penh, said: “Citadines Flatiron Phnom Penh is the epitome of city living. Located in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia, the apart’hotel provides unparallel convenience to business and leisure travellers who are looking for both short and long stay accommodation options. The well-designed spaces in this apart’hotel are expected to appeal to modern, savvy travellers. As the world inches towards recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, Citadines Flatiron Phnom Penh is well-positioned to capture any recovery from the travel industry in Cambodia.”
