UK: Flying Butler Apartments has announced the appointment of John Harrington as head of real estate.
Harrington will join the senior leadership team this September, leading the real estate efforts and driving ambitious portfolio growth.
He has more than twenty years of industry-related experience within Greater London and South Africa and worked for Flying Butler from 2014-16 as property acquisition and business development director for Flying Butler Apartments (then known as Deep Blue).

Harrington has a long career in real estate. Previous roles include: Head of acquisition and business development at Valet Apartments, London; New build sales team leader at SEEFF Properties in South Africa; Residential development broker at Sotheby’s International Realty in South Africa.
Harrington also enjoyed six years at A2Dominion, one of the larger developers and a member of the G15, in the UK. He worked as senior sales manager on the in-house brand FABRICA, which markets new-build private sale and shared ownership homes. He also managed multiple in-house and on-site new-build sales teams, across multiple private sales, shared ownership, and discount market sales sites.
Flying Butler recently announced openings in London and Southampton.
